We are PAUL and HELENE, two Sydney-based portrait photographers with over twenty years’ experience capturing people, and places. Do you do other photography ?
Of course! It makes sense to bundle on-location photography with headshot photography
Whilst onsite we are able to capture other relevant imagery that can be used for a variety of purposes such as websites, internal communications, reports, social media etc -.just tell us what you need and we can add to the quote.
Can you photograph us at our office?
Yes. I regularly work onsite and can bring a professional lighting setup and backdrop if needed. Office environments also work well for more natural or branded headshots.
Can we use the images for marketing and PR?
Yes. Images are licensed for use across websites, social media, internal communications, and promotional materials. If you need usage for advertising or wider distribution, this can be discussed at booking.
I’m not comfortable in front of the camera — is that a problem?
Not at all. Most people feel this way. We'll guide you through posing, posture, and small adjustments throughout the session, so you’re never left wondering what to do. Our approach is relaxed and supportive, helping you feel comfortable so the final images look natural and confident.
How long does a headshot session take?
Individual headshots: approximately 30 minutes. Small teams: 10 minutes per person
Larger teams: sessions are streamlined for efficiency and minimal disruption
Exact timing depends on the number of people and setup.
What should I wear for my headshot?
Solid colours work best, with minimal patterns or logos. Neutral tones, darker colours, and simple layers photograph well and keep the focus on you. Once booked, we’ll be happy to offer guidance based on your industry, brand, and how the images will be used.
Do you retouch the images?
Yes — all selected images are professionally retouched to ensure a polished, natural finish while maintaining a realistic and professional appearance.
How will the images be delivered?
Images are supplied via a private online gallery, making it easy to download and share files across your team.
What is your turnaround time?
Standard delivery is a week from the session.
Rush delivery options are available if images are needed sooner.
How many images will we receive?
Each person typically selects one final retouched image, with the option to purchase additional images if needed. All final images are delivered in high-resolution and web-ready formats.
